Ngamo Forest (Intundla Camp)

The Ngamo Camp, known as Intundla Camp, is thoughtfully positioned among the teak trees and false mopane forest and captures the essence of a traditional safari in Africa. Overlooking a solar-powered water pan, the camp provides a vantage point for game viewing right from the front of the main entertainment area. The accommodation consists of four fully detached ensuite chalets powered by solar with an industrial back-up generator. The main lounge and dining area is central and provides a place to relax after long days in the bush.

Ngamo Forest Area

Situated along the Southern boundary of Hwange National Park, the Ngamo Forest is one of Zimbabwe's most sought-after hunting concessions. Part of the Forestry Commission lands, the area is 301,000 acres of vast unfenced wilderness. The terrain is a blend of flat open plains and teak and false Mopane forest, all covered in thick gusu sand. Like Matetsi, we have invested extensively in developing a more-than reliable water infrastructure throughout the area. Currently, there are 10 game water holes all of which are solar-powered, and that number will rise to 18 come end of October 2025. Vast herds of elephant and buffalo are often seen congregating around the solar-powered water pans and within the teak and acacia woodlands. Lions are a constant presence, often heard calling through the night. Leopard, Hyena and the occasional wild dog patrol the same ranges. The plains and open vleis hold a remarkable variety of antelope - Sable, Kudu, Impala, Wildebeest, Zebra, along with the elusive Eland and Roan antelope in certain parts of the forest.
