Set among shaded Mopane and white syringa, mahogany trees, the camp is perched on a hill-top overlooking a water pan that attracts the likes of kudu, elephants, giraffe, impala, and even lions. The camp features five ensuite rooms - three king rooms and two twin rooms - three of the rooms being air-conditioned. Walking down from the open bar area that gives a 180-degree view of the landscape, is a welcoming fire-pit that creates the perfect setting for sharing incredible memories beneath the African stars.
Matetsi Unit Four lies within a well-known hunting region of Western Zimbabwe. Covering 120,000 acres of wild Zimbabwe, this unfenced concession provides fair chase hunting.
This is one of Africa's remaining unfenced frontiers where wildlife roams freely across immense expanses of woodland, open plains, riverine habitats, with the Deka River bordering the Eastern boundary of the concession.
Every safari contributes to the ongoing preservation of this area - funding anti-poaching units, game water supply and management, and community development. Additionally, the presence of hunters in the field provides continuous surveillance against illegal poaching, safeguarding the species of the area. To support the wildlife, we have invested extensively in developing a reliable water infrastructure throughout the area, which includes 11 game water boreholes and four holding dams. Multiple solar-powered boreholes and water pans have been installed, providing critical water sources for game, and these are monitored and maintained year-round.
